In 1939, Rose Kravitz opened a small neighborhood delicatessen with the goal of providing for her family and serving her community.

Starting with little more than determination (and even borrowing money just to make change on opening day) Rose built her business one customer at a time.

That legacy is still at the heart of everything we do today.
