Employee Spotlight: MORGAN!

Morgan hasn't been with us for a long time, but you would never know it by watching her work. She stepped into the cashier/host position and has done an amazing job learning the ins and outs of the role.

I always tell our hosts that hosting is a lot like playing chess. It's not just about seating the next table—it's about understanding rotation, timing things just right, knowing when to put tables together, and seeing potential problems before they happen. It takes awareness, patience, and a real understanding of the flow of the restaurant.

Morgan has picked up on that faster than most. She has a great ability to read the room, stay organized, and keep things moving smoothly.
We're so glad you joined our team, Morgan (even though youre only here for the Summer!) Your willingness to learn and the effort you put in every shift does not go unnoticed.

Employee Spotlight: Kendall!

Kendall is the kind of person every team hopes to have. She doesn't waste time, doesn't get caught up in the chaos, and just comes in ready to work. Her work ethic is unmatched, and when there is a job to be done, you can count on Kendall to get it done. Thinking back, Kendall is probably the fastest to ever master our serving procedures. Within a day or two she was ready to be out on the floor.

One of my favorite things about Kendall is the heart she carries with her. Her love for shelter dogs is something I absolutely admire. The compassion she has for animals says a lot about the kind of person she is.

Hardworking, kind-hearted, and always keeping us entertained in her own way. We're lucky to have you, Kendall!

Employee Spotlight: MICHAEL

This week's employee shout-out goes to Michael!
Michael joined our team a couple of months ago after coming from a kitchen where, as he put it, teamwork just didn't exist. I remember telling him, "You came to the right place." It didn't take long for him to become a part of our family.

If you've ever worked in a busy kitchen, you know a great fry cook can make or break the flow of service. Michael is one of the best I've ever seen. He never misses a beat, keeps his station running smoothly, and somehow always has everything hot and ready exactly when it's needed.

More than that, he's dependable, works incredibly hard, and is just an all-around good guy to have on the team. We appreciate everything you bring to Brothers at Willow Ranch, Michael. Thanks for giving your best every single shift—we're glad you're here!

Well... I think it's safe to say we've started a new 4th of July tradition—and I'm ready to retire it. 😂

For the SECOND year now, the power went out right in the middle of one of our busiest dinner services.... The 4th of July.

When all of our cooking equipment, lights, and POS go down at the same time, there's really not much you can do. We started the process of closing, had to turn some guests away, and honestly thought that was going to be the end of the night.

Then, with about 30 minutes left before closing, the lights came back on and without missing a beat, our kitchen fired everything back up, our servers shifted right back into gear, and we finished the night the best we could.

To everyone who was patient, understanding, and stuck it out with us—thank you. And to our staff... you handled a stressful situation with so much grace. Nights like tonight remind us just how lucky we are to have the team we do.

Now... if we could just convince the power company that we'd like to keep this Fourth of July tradition to fireworks only. 🎆🇺🇸😂
