After 10 incredible years, the time has come to say goodbye.
Today, Ginger + Soul closes its doors for the final time.
Ten years ago, we opened with a simple dream: to create more than just a restaurant. We wanted a place where families celebrated birthdays, couples lingered over brunch, friends gathered around the table, and our community could feel at home. Because of you, that dream became a reality.
Yorkville welcomed us with open arms. You trusted us with your weddings, baby showers, celebrations of life, anniversaries, holiday gatherings, and so many of life’s milestones. Thank you for allowing us to be part of those memories.
Ginger + Soul was never just a building. It was the people inside it.
To my MOST incredible employees, thank you. You gave your hearts to this place. You worked early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. You baked, cooked, served, cleaned, painted, repaired, bought air conditioners, always ran to the store for something I forgot, waited on your paychecks until the money was there, comforted, laughed, and cared for every guest as if they were family. Your dedication, kindness, and hard work are what made Ginger + Soul special. I could never have done this without you, and will always be grateful for everything you gave.
To our customers, thank you for every meal you shared with us, every event you trusted us to cater, every recommendation, every kind word, every review, and every time you chose to support a small, local business. You allowed us to do what we loved for a decade, and that is a gift we will never forget.
Although this chapter has come to an end, the memories we’ve made together will stay with us forever.
