To our friends, guests and loyal customers. This is not a post I enjoy making, and have been putting it off for some time, but after a long week of incidents, we feel it has become necessary.

First off, please know how much we enjoy the after school traffic that comes into our shop. We have made friends with several of the kiddos that come in every day to enjoy a frozen treat while knocking out homework. We love sharing space with them. This message is not about these kiddos!

We have had a few situations where we have to get stern with or ask a student to leave and that is not anything we like to do. The following is a brief view of what our team has been dealing with since school has been back in session:
*Running back n forth through the shop in front door and out the back while yelling and being very disruptive.
*Use of foul language
*Fist fighting and verbal arguing
*Making large messes of ice cream on tables, windows, floors etc.
*Making large messes in bathroom
*Multiple kids at a time going into our single use bathroom for long amounts of time
*Openly va**ng inside shop
*Taking up multiple tables, loitering and leaving trash from items purchased at other establishments.
*Riding bikes and scooters around the building and thru drive thru. This is extremely dangerous as vehicles travel through that parking lot and thru the drive thru not expecting a child to be biking thru the opposite direction.

We have had customers leave due to some of these actions taking place while they are trying to enjoy their visit with us. These behaviors are not acceptable and as much as we do not want to, if this does not improve we will have to turn away any child coming in without an adult. We truly do not want to have to do this.

From our Frozen Boulder family, we hope that this matter is taken into great consideration for the continued fun and friendly environment that we love to share with our community.

We were so thrilled and thankful to be awarded Silver for Best Ice Cream! We truly love our customers as they quickly become family. Thank you Muncie and Yorktown for voting for us! We can't wait to hit the drawing board this winter to come up with more epic menu surprises!
