With the announcement coming out that he will be retiring next week, we just wanted to come out and say “Thank You” to Chief Noble and the entire YPD (Yorktown PBA ) for honoring us with a Civilian Certificate of Recognition.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge what (we feel) is just doing the right thing. Yes, we’re operating a business, but as you so eloquently put it: this is a family place. As the police department is a family for you, we consider all of our customers to be our family as well (whether that be a brother, mother, or third-cousin twice-removed- we’ll leave the distinction up to you). And to us, “family” means treating everybody with respect, and feeding them until they physically have to push you away.

Once again, we thank you, Chief Noble, for the recognition, and are honored just to have been considered your friend throughout your tenure. Here’s to a relaxing retirement!

Happy Birthday to our fearless leader Joe! Whether it’s making pizza, making pizza, or making pizza, you can be sure Joe does it all to make sure YPP runs like… well, a “well-oiled machine” might be generous. One of those monkey toys with the cymbals seems more in-character for us!

Thank you for all that you do- not enough people see the early morning Restaurant Depot runs, the late night oven cleaning sessions, or midday crisis phone calls you handle to make our lives as employees easier, and the experiences of our customers better. Thanks for being a great boss and an even better dad.
