Ladies and Gentlemen. In honor of what would have been Sara’s 50th Birthday I am going to be doing a 1 night only dinner in York on or around August 13.
This is going to be a charity event to support Keep Punching and I’m working on making it so 100% of the money paid for dinner goes to them and towards supporting families in need while they go thru their fight with Glioblastoma.
Dinner is going to be 5-7 courses featuring some of Sara’s favorite dishes that were served at 21South and some of the things she would ask for me to make at home, and for those who are fans we will have the Umami Bread Pudding.
Likely going to cap the seats to 50 people, cost will be in the $100 per head range all inclusive BYOB. Stay tuned for more details, but I wanted to put this out there for everyone so it can get on your calendar.

So today is Friday and for the first time in all my travels I have visited a restaurant more than once. I was so impressed with Cart-Driver Denver that I went back today for lunch with a colleague. If you ever find yourself in Denver I suggest you make it part of your visit!

Day 2, had a fantastic breakfast at a place called Modmarket, prosciutto, creamy scrambled eggs and a salad. Dinner was at a place called Guard and Grace, awesome prosciutto sampler, charcuterie, grilled octopus with white beans and very tasty scallops, but desert was outstanding. An unbelievable salted caramel ice cream and a home made kit kat that was nuts!!

First full day in Denver has brought me some fantastic vittles while getting my lunin on. Had a great "Cuban" style sammich last night at Euclid Hall with some really good house made pickles and some tasty beverages. Breakfast this morning brought me to Snooze, an A.M. Eatery for a Dirty Drunken Chai and a great chili verde eggs beni. Took some classes and went to Cart-Driver Denver for one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Thanks Tony the recommendation, the chef/owner Andrew was a great guy to talk to, his product was beautifully simple and he let the ingredients and his technique speak for itself.

Ladies and Gents, 21South is back and in Denver, Co for the week!! I am going to be eating my way thru the city for 5 days and reporting in on what Denver has to offer. If you have recommendations shoot them my way!

They say that all good things must come to an end. And now, it's our turn. Due to our upcoming move to Texas, this Saturday will be 21South's final dinner in YorKitchen. We are so thankful for your unbelievable support, your trust in what we do, and the love you have shown. Whether you came from near or far to sit at our table, we thank you.
