Greeting from Fishermen's Dock!

Wow! It's been quite the rocky road for the last 18 months and the business forecast still proves to be uncertain..

The pandemic, politics, inflation, unemployment, the workforce and their resistance to comply, has shifted the restaurant industry in a completely new direction. At this juncture, it's an expensive hobby at best!

For this reason, I have decided to sell The Dock as of May 23rd at 4 pm.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and perseverance needed to have been able to succeed! At this point in life, it is time to move on!

So many thanks to the staff, patrons and many good friends made over the past 8 years! It has been truly enjoyable!

Everyone loves our seafood!

Even Perry the Seagull wrote a delightful review about our delicious seafood scraps. “Only place I land to get my daily scraps. I’ve been visiting Fishermen’s Dock for 2 years now and they haven’t charged me a single dime. Very affordable, I say.”

While we may not have free food to our human customers, we do offer fair pricing for our seafood and hope you find our food just as enjoyable!

Maine is best known for its amazing seafood, the coastline, the sites such as museums, and a friendly community.

Whether you live in Maine or are just passing through, explore what we have to offer. Visit our local museums, hike through Acadia National Park, explore the coast at Portland Head Light, and stop by Fishermen’s Dock for some lunch.

Just make sure to schedule more than one day for all these activities!

Our boiled lobster is heavenly and the best in Maine!

Served with butter, lemon juice, white wine broiled sauce topped with fresh cracker crumbs, you won’t find anything more delicious than this. Maddison (age 13), from York told us it’s her favorite seafood dish and was the best lobster she’s ever had.

When was the last time you had our delicious lobster? We’d love to have you stop on by for some whether for indoor dining or take out. The choice is yours!

Did you know that oysters are not only delicious but also beneficial to our ocean’s ecosystem?

Oyster farms all around are helping to contribute to the aquaculture of our ocean. They themselves are nature’s own filtration system and can filter through 50 gallons of water every day! This contributes to the environment by removing both phosphorus and nitrogen which are pollutants to the ocean itself.
