Another Thursday, another amazing morning of stories and smiles at York Coffee Roastery!

Our July 2nd Summer Book Reading was such a joy, with lots and lots of kiddos joining us for a fun-filled morning! A big thank you to Investigator Jessica Cooper for spending time with our little readers and sharing the hilarious story "Giraffe Problems." From start to finish, the kids were engaged, laughing, and having the best time!

A huge THANK YOU to Capt. Kevin Hoffman for joining us and reading "Pig the Pug" on July 9th! The kids were completely entertained by Pig's hilarious adventures, and judging by all the smiles, giggles, and laughter, we'd say he was a big hit! 💛

Seeing our shop filled with curious minds, happy families, and the love of reading is exactly what these summer mornings are all about. Moments like these remind us how special our community truly is.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it another memorable Book Reading. We can't wait to do it all again next Thursday, July 16th at 10AM!

When most people walk into York Coffee Roastery, they see fresh coffee, smiling faces, and the aroma of beans roasting.

What they may not see right away is the confidence being built behind the counter.

York Coffee Roastery is a program of MaxAbilities. Here, students with disabilities have the opportunity to learn job skills, gain hands-on work experience, and discover what they're capable of achieving.

The first customer greeted. The first drink made. The first paycheck earned. The first time someone realizes, "I can do this."

Those moments matter.

Every bag of coffee we roast and every drink we serve helps create opportunities for individuals to learn, grow, and build greater independence.

Today we celebrate freedom, community, and the people who make our small town such a special place to call home.

As you gather with family and friends, enjoy backyard cookouts, parades, and fireworks, we hope you'll take a moment to appreciate the blessings that surround us and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We are grateful for our amazing customers and for the opportunity to serve our community while helping local students gain valuable job skills through our training program.
