Starting Monday, June 15, we’ll be opening at 6:30 AM as a summer trial run.

We’ve heard from quite a few people that a 7:00 AM opening makes it hard to grab coffee before work, especially if your day starts at 7. So we’re giving earlier hours a shot.

Now the important part: if you show up, we’ll keep doing it. 😁

We’ll be testing these hours throughout the summer, and if those early mornings are busy, we’d love to continue opening at 6:30 into the fall.

Reintroducing Madi ✨

One of our OG Mack’s employees and still one of the most familiar faces around here - even if the travel bug keeps her away from us sometimes. Whenever Madi is back behind the counter, it feels like no time has passed at all. Especially when she's around to do the drink of the week board!

Right now her go-to drink is a dirty Dr Pepper with strawberry and shortbread, and if she could create her own signature drink, it would absolutely be a cake batter latte inspired by cake batter Oreos. Outside of work, she loves working out, baking, reading, and photography, though she says she’s “not as professional as Doug.” She’s also proudly a night owl and says basically anything can make her laugh, especially The Office.

When asked about her favorite Mack’s memory, she picked the Yorkfest parade Saturday. As chaotic and stressful as it can be, she loves the energy of the big crew working together and all the random moments that somehow happen every single year. She also reminded us of some classic Mack’s chaos over the years… including Peyton setting the espresso machine on fire and the many times she’s accidentally dropped drinks, ice buckets, and coffee base at the worst possible moments. 😂

One of the things Madi said she loves most about Mack’s is the community: the customers, coworkers, and support system that make this place feel special. And honestly, we’re just really glad whenever we get to have her back in the shop for a little while 💛
