Our gardens our bountiful. This year, we are not selling veggies to the public via farmstand or CSA; we are donating the best food to the most needy.

We ARE making bath products, teas and CBD tinctures, some of which can be found (not the CBD, since FB is not allowing us. while they allow others) at https://www.facebook.com/CedarRockFarmCanby ...and we will be at the Canby Farmer's Market every other week, starting July 10. We may bring excess produce with us, possibly.

As we look to connect with our local communities and grow our regular customer base we are working from a novel pricing approach called:

Pay what is fair.

We can tell you what things of lesser time/human/amendment intensity and quality would sell for in stores... And you know your budget and the price averages for chemical vs organic/co op. So you decide what is a fair price to both of us.

Similar to pay what you can... But in this case we are asking you to think of both parties. The farm and the consumer, as you decide "what is fair to pay".

We hope you will come visit the farm and see why what we grow is impossible to buy in a store. We do welcome offering a taste of any of the produce when you visit; we stand by what we grow and you will taste the difference.

You may NOW purchase beyond organic Spinach and/or Arugula, grown with love, and utilizing permaculture methodology. Only natural amendments and living soil feed our plants and all is hand picked at optimal time from each plant for you to enjoy!

Many folks also opt for our salad mix, which is half arugula & half spinach, for the same price.

This is available NOW so please message here or at [email protected]

Borage (a must have pollinator for any garden. and more!)
Milkweed (must have pollinator and only thing monarch butterflies eat. also deals with aphids)
Kale (red ruffled)
Summer squash (yellow crookneck)
Lemon Cucumber
Cucumber Muncher
Ground Cherry/Goldenberry
Lemon Basil
Forest Fern (large or small)
stinging Nettle (amazing companion plant and much more)

for buying the products that come from plants, please know we are a small permaculture farm and that this means the following: Your farmer picks the food he grew for you. As it grows. You get things picked in the most optimal time... You cannot buy food/herbs like this in the store. It is all grown with NO purchased nutrients. All is natural only. You cannot buy this even at a co op. We usually sell to gourmet chefs. But COVID has changed that. If you want the cheapest thing we are not that (other than a few items that are grown more bulk). If you want the most natural and the most human care we are that, and you can buy these now:
Peppermint
Spearmint
Chocolate Mint
Spinach (not the garbage you buy in the store; I pick every leaf for you as they grow, at optimal harvest time)
Arugula (same as spinach)
Chard (same as spinach and arugula)
Chives
Oregano
Rosemary
Lavender
Lemon Balm
Nettle powder

I really would appreciate if you would share this with others. I am struggling trying to meet all the plant and soil needs and also trying to sell and market.

I will be more detailed tomorrow. I have run out of time today.

Big week; another section ready to bring transplants into. Emails/database coming along. Should be able to post some of the for sale details by end of week as planned!

is small scale farming with way beyond organic methodology. Natural methods only, companion planting, micro hugelkultur, agriculture, compost/plant teas, etc... working to better the land while benefiting from it. Symbiosis. The only thing we buy is a little processed compost to mix with our raw compost. All fertilizers are made here on the land from natural ingredients. Your local farmer (me) prepares all the soil, plants all the plants and so forth.

This is caring for plants on a level that cannot be found in stores. We look forward to you enjoying the fruits of our labors.
