šŸ§„šŸ§€ NEW Garlic Cheddar Rolls! šŸ§€šŸ§„

We love savory bakes, and many of you have asked for meat-filled scones. Unfortunately, Texas Cottage Food Law does NOT allow cottage bakers to sell products containing meat.

So we created something deliciously savory instead.

Our new Garlic Cheddar Rolls are packed with real cheddar from Stryk Jersey Farm, garlic, and fresh herbs, then baked until golden brown and irresistible.

Would you pair them with soup, chili, barbecue, or eat them straight from the pan? šŸ‘‡

No market for us this weekend, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get out and support your local farmers, ranchers, bakers, and makers.

Every purchase at a farmers market helps keep small family businesses going and supports the people working hard behind the scenes to bring you fresh food and handmade products.

While we’re not at a market today, we’re busy delivering orders and getting ready for next weekend’s events. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our small business.

We’re also preparing for one of our favorite events of the year—the 98th Annual Yoakum Tom Tom Festival!

You can find Wildflour Scones & Bakery there next weekend with scratch-made scones, Nana’s Cinnamon Rolls, Mamie’s Bread Pudding, farm-fresh eggs, homemade vanilla, pancake and scone mixes, and more.

If you’re headed to a farmers market today, be sure to support the local vendors who work hard to bring fresh, local products to your community.

Thank you for supporting local businesses, Texas farms, and our veteran-owned bakery. We can’t wait to see y’all in Yoakum next weekend!

Before the icing.
Before the boxes.
Before they head to New Braunfels tomorrow.

There’s dough to mix, dough to rise, cinnamon to roll, and a whole lot of work that happens long before a cinnamon roll reaches your table.

Every batch starts from scratch using family recipes, real ingredients, and plenty of patience.

That’s the Wildflour way 🩷

Some days we’re baking.

Some days we’re treating Big Red’s bumblefoot, picking up antibiotics for a new calf, and sitting at the vet with Hank.

When people support Wildflour Scones & Bakery, they’re supporting more than baked goods. They’re supporting a farm, the animals that depend on us, and the work that happens long before a batch of scones ever goes into the oven.

This is the side of a farm-to-bakery business most people never see.

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. 🩷

Who else knows that farm animals never seem to get sick one at a time? šŸ˜…

Before the scones…
Before the cinnamon rolls…
Before the bread pudding…

There are early mornings, farm chores, fresh eggs, and real ingredients.

This is the part most people never see — but it’s why our baking tastes the way it does 🩷

Somewhere along the way, people were convinced scones should be dry. šŸ˜…

Not here.

We scratch bake in small batches using real butter, farm eggs, and ingredients sourced from South Texas farmers—not from warehouse shelves or mass-produced shortcuts.

Because what goes into your food matters just as much as how it tastes.

Which one are you grabbing first? šŸ‘‡šŸ©·

I should have known from the sniff test šŸ˜‚

He smelled it, said he already knew it was going to be good… took a bite, started dancing, and asked for a second one to take home.

Mamie’s family bread pudding recipe strikes again šŸ¤

Not all bread puddings are baked equally.

This is Mamie’s family recipe rooted in Louisiana tradition—the one people come looking for and the one that keeps selling out.

Small-batch. From scratch. Real ingredients. Real reactions.

Thank you for supporting our veteran-owned small business and Texas farmers who help make what we do possible. šŸ¤
