GOOD NEWS:
Spring is here.
We made it through the coldest days of winter. With your support, we were able to take care of our neighbors in need through our Quarts of Kindness Soup program. We donated 90+ quarts of soup a month through the Yarmouth, Cumberland and Falmouth Food Pantries.
BAD NEWS:
Gas prices are up. As is oil, food and services.
We are seeing a slow down in soup donations and have started to cut back on the amount of soup we are able to give to the pantries.
This has always been a community supported program. We know everyone is stretched thin. If you are able, please stop in to purchase a quart of soup for a neighbor in need. If you're new to how it works, simply stop in, purchase a quart of kindness and leave it behind. We'll make sure it gets in the hands of folks who can use it. The cold weather is behind us but the need is still great.
As always, we thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
We believe we're better together and remain grateful to be part of this community.
Most Sincerely,
Kate & John
