What an absolute fantastic two days at the Sioux Falls Canaries Stadium, The Bird Cage!!

The Banana Ball was nothing but fantastic! A HUGE shout out to the amazing players, The Firefighters and the Indianapolis Clowns, merchandisers, and of course the patient patrons!

Two days of sales and at the end of Friday, we had sold out of 4 flavors. Such an awesome event.

A special thank you to Stensland Family Farms for the honor to represent their ice cream and the Sioux Falls Canaries for the invite.

I just wanted to give a big heartfelt thank you for all of our patrons that have been patient with our wacky schedule.

Last month my father was diagnosed with Adv. Metastatic Prostate Cancer. I have made several last minute trips back to Colorado to be there for my mom and dad during the initial phases of the diagnosis and surgeries. Thus I have not been available for Grandma Jacks and the ice cream trailer. I guess life just happens.

BUT we are here and all set up at Riverboat Days 2026, ready to serve your favorite flavors and ice cream floats. We even have a few new float flavor combinations. Come on by, I'd love to see all of your smiling faces and thank you for your prayers for our family.

After a week of extra hot temperatures, we have spent ALOT of time insulating the trailer and freezers and creating new menu options.

We are ready to come back to Yankton.

We regretfully announce that we will not be visiting Yankton this week.

Due to the extreme temperatures, our ambient temperature inside the trailer is reaching 120 deg. The freezers are struggling to keep up, so we will not be out this week. Hopefully next week won't be as hot.
