So I promise we had a good reason for canceling arab breakfast! A little life update from the owners...

Over the last 9 months in addition to trying to get Bayt Jenin off the ground and build community with y'all, we have been growing our little family!

The last 9 months were a challenge! Navigating the ups and downs of being a new small business, slow days, dead days, busy days, farmers markets in addition to the physical changes and working a full time job has been quite the roller coaster.

Last Friday, while literally frying falafel for Falafel friday in the shop, our whole world changed, and we welcomed our first into the world!

This isn't your typical coffeeshop content, but Bayt Jenin was never meant to be your typical coffeeshop. It was always meant to be a community first and foremost. We havent been in Yakima long, but the community we have been building has seen us through and we have formed some life long friendships through Bayt Jenin so it felt right to share this moment with our people.

Thank you to everyone who has come in and supported our business, given us a morale boost, sage advice about becoming new parents, and even brought us some yummy food during our first few days navigating parenthood.

We love yall and can't wait for Baby Bayt Jenin to meet you 💓!
