💕 A Little Farm Stand Update 💕
I’ve been wanting to sit down and write this for a little while because it’s hard to believe it has already been over a month since I opened my little farm stand.
When I first decided to do this, I really had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know if people would stop, if they would like what I made, or if this little idea of mine would even work. I just knew I loved baking, making things from scratch, and sharing those things with other people.
And y’all have truly touched my heart. 💕
Every time I see someone pull in, stop to look around, pick up a loaf of bread or a little sweet treat, it still makes me smile. Even the people who have simply stopped by to see what the stand is all about have meant something to me.
I don’t think I realized when I started this just how much love and support would come along with it. To some, it may just be a little farm stand on the side of the road, but to me, it’s something I’ve put a lot of my heart into. Seeing people enjoy something that I made with my own two hands is a feeling that’s hard to explain. ❤️
This first month has also been a lot of trial and error. 😂 I’ve tried different baked goods, different flavors, some traditional recipes, and some traditional favorites that I decided to put my own little spin on.
Some things y’all absolutely loved… and some things didn’t get quite as much love. 😂 But that’s okay. I’m learning what you all enjoy, what you come back for, and honestly, I’m learning what feels the most like me too.
So I’ve decided I want to get back to what I love most — simple, homemade, traditional goodies.
You’ll be seeing more traditional breads, sweet breads, cookies, and cake slices at the stand. 🥖🍪🍰 Of course, I’m still me, so every now and then I’m probably going to get an idea and put my own little twist on something because I just can’t help myself. 😂
And the farm stand wouldn’t be complete without the other homemade things I love making. I’ll still have my jams and jellies, pickled vegetables, and when the seasons allow, fresh produce from the garden. 🍓🫙🥒🍅
I want this little stand to stay simple. Homemade. Welcoming. The kind of place where you can stop by and find something that reminds you of home, your childhood, your mama’s kitchen, or something your grandma used to make.
I’m still figuring all of this out as I go. I’m learning what works, what doesn’t, and what I want this little stand to become. And the funny thing is, all of you are helping me figure that out without even realizing it.
So if you’ve stopped by once, come back several times, bought one little cookie, picked up a loaf of bread, grabbed a jar of jam, shared one of my posts, told a friend about me, or simply said something kind…
Thank you. Truly. ❤️
You have made this first month more special than I ever expected it to be. I started with a little farm stand and a whole lot of uncertainty, and somehow it has already become something very close to my heart.
I can’t wait to see what the next month brings. 💕
