Far East Chinese Restaurant We are a family run restaurant dedicated serving you authentic Cantonese and Vietnamese style cuisine. Far East has a large menu with over 150 selections.

Far East is a family-owned restaurant that has been in business since 1987. We carry Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and a few popular Korean-style dishes. Far East first opened in 1987 on 28th and Clyde Park. We are now located on 36th & Clyde Park. We are very proud to be the first restaurant in Grand Rapids to serve several special dishes and soups such as our Pho Noodle Soup.
