New flavor alert. Malt Shop Chocolate.
Haven’t made this flavor since closing the shop a couple of years ago.
If you love an old school old fashioned chocolate malt, you’re going to love this flavor.
Come see us at the Wylie Farmers Market located in the B&B movie theater parking lot between 9:00 and 1:00 tomorrow, Saturday 9/05 for ice cream and fried pies.
We’ve also added a couple of savory pies for tomorrow, Chili Verde, and Cheesy Taco.

Just a reminder that there will be 2 Wylie Farmers Markets during the months of September and October starting this Saturday September 5 located at the B&B movie theater parking lot from 9:00 - 1:00
Check out my new dough puck machine that I had built to speed up the production of dough pucks for my fried pies.
I typically make enough pie dough to run 150 pies per batch. This machine does in minutes what was taking about an hour and a half the old way.
Pie flavors for this weekend include, Cherry, Apple, Lemon, Chocolate, Apricot, and I will be introducing a limited quantity of Pork Chili Verde pies with a special pie dough that incorporates a fine ground corn meal and pairs perfectly with the chili verde filling. These things are off the chart good.
Prepackaged quarts of ice cream available this weekend

Cinnamon
Strawberry
Malt Shop Chocolate, tastes just like an old fashioned chocolate malt.

Hey everyone, have y,all discovered Mountain Mikes Pizza located at 511 E FM 544 just as you get into Murphy. It’s in between 7-11 and Honey Baked Ham.
They’ve been open roughly 3 weeks.
I’ve been there twice, once for a sit down dinner and once to try their lunch buffet. I was impressed both times. Friendly crew, great pizza.
They are not stingy with the toppings and pile them on, maybe that’s why they call it Mountain Mikes, who knows.
I do know there’s not another pizza joint in the area that I’ve eaten at that has as many toppings.
They have thin and regular crust, gluten free options, conventional red sauce or creamy garlic sauce pizza’s plus bone in and boneless wings which I’m trying next time. They look good.
They also have a lunch buffet with salad bar and pizza bar. The garlic cheese rolls on the buffet are awesome.
They don’t cut corners on their buffet pizza like most places either. They’re loaded up.
They are having a hard time getting discovered and need people to come in and try them. I love the place.
Stop in and try them if you can and I’ll see everyone at the Wylie Farmers Market September 5.

Last call for cantaloupe, key lime and chocolate dipped black cherry. These flavors will be gone till next summer when they sell out.
I will be selling this afternoon between 3:00 and 6:00 the remaining ice cream in the freezer all in prepackaged quarts.

1 quart Chocolate Dipped Black Cherry.

A sincere thank you to everyone that came out this past Saturday and battled the heat to support the Wylie farmers market.
We personally appreciate the support we received on our fried pies. We set a new sales record of 160 pies sold in 4 hours which is phenomenal in the heat we all had to endure.

Last call for cantaloupe, key lime and peach. Once they’re gone they won’t be back till next summer.
I will be selling ice cream later this afternoon to clear out inventory and make room for September flavors.

Come join us at Wylie Farmers Market this Saturday July 18, between the hours of 9:00 and 1:00 for fried pies and ice cream. Along with peach, we will be featuring the cantaloupe ice cream everyone has been waiting for made with Pecos cantaloupe.
Our famous fried pies will also be available. If This month we have added apricot fried pies to the menu along with apple, cherry, chocolate, and lemon.
