We’re open with regular hours at both our woodhaven cafe as well as our wyandotte cafe + roastery. Outdoor seating will remain available for those who choose to use it, but we strongly encourage sitting inside until the air improves more.

Happy 4th of July! We are open with regular business hours today & tomorrow. Come grab a loaded iced s’mores latte or a cold brew with toasted marshmallow cold foam.

Wyandotte parade will be going on just behind our back lot, if you’re stopping by for some fuel before or after the parade & our lot is full, please use overflow parking at Yack arena .

hung out at the roastery last night roasting + stocking the shelves until just after 3am. very very very tired but good news is navi’s hella stocked & I’ve already drank 2 cups, so can confirm it slaaaaps like usual.

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate identity, community, and the people who have fought to live authentically at every age.

At The Senior Alliance, that means celebrating the LGBTQ+ older adults we serve and the organizations working alongside us, including MiGen, the Michigan LGBTQ+ Elders Network. Together, we host Downriver Sip & Chat, a monthly gathering for LGBTQ+ older adults in Southeast Michigan, on the second Monday of every month at Kekoa Brew Co. Coffee Roasters in Woodhaven.

No agenda. No intake forms. Just community.

💚 Women of Wyandotte 💚

Our spotlight is shining on Alyssa, owner of Kekoa Brew Co. Coffee Roasters .

What began as a love for great coffee has grown into a business built on resilience, purpose, and community. Alyssa opened Kekoa Brew Co. with a vision of creating more than just a coffee shop, she wanted to create a welcoming space where people could gather, connect, and enjoy thoughtfully crafted coffee.

The name "Kekoa" carries a special meaning. It was inspired by a whale shark Alyssa and her husband helped rescue while snorkeling in Hawaii. Because the whale shark was not yet being tracked, they were given the opportunity to name it and chose "Kekoa," which means "brave one" or "warrior." The name held even greater significance for Alyssa as a brain tumor survivor, making it a powerful symbol of strength, perseverance, and overcoming challenges.

Today, Kekoa Brew Co. has become a favorite gathering place for many in our community, known for its carefully sourced coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality. But behind every cup is a story of courage, determination, and a business owner who followed her dream.

Thank you, Alyssa, for investing in Wyandotte, creating a space that brings people together, and reminding us that some of the best businesses are built from both passion and purpose.

A nostalgic Taking Back Sunday tour calls for equally as nostalgic of a dessert inspired latte to remind ya of the good ole days when times were just simpler. And what better to celebrate that than with a giveaway of 2 tickets to their show in Royal Oak, MI on 6/16.

Our newest collaboration latte is infused with our organic dirt puddin’ syrup + topped with a house made cookies n cream cold foam, crushed chocolate cookies + a dye free gummy worm for the ultimate throwback caffeinated treat. Available now through June 21st at both our cafe and roastery locations.
