Quick heads up from Cornerstone!

We’re going to be closing a little early today due to an unexpected staffing issue.

Nothing dramatic. Nobody got kidnapped by the Sicilian side of the family. 😂 We just need to call it a day a little sooner than planned.

Thank you for understanding and, as always, thank you for supporting our little window.

Rainy Wednesday got you wondering what you're going to eat? 🌧️

Good news. This little Sicilian window has some VERY good answers.

Yes, we put bacon on seafood salad. Yes, it belongs there. No, we will not be taking questions at this time. 😂

Creamy seafood salad, provolone, fresh arugula, tomato, onion, shaved parmesan, banana peppers and lemon aioli on a soft 8" bun.

Okay, seafood lovers... this week is YOUR week. 🦀🥪

We couldn't decide on just one seafood special... So we're doing TWO.

First up...

🦀 THE SEAFOOD BLT • $12

Creamy. Crunchy. A little lemony. And BACON.

Happy Labor Day!

Apparently Labor Day is supposed to be a day when you DON'T labor.

Interesting concept... We will not be participating. 😂

Your favorite little Sicilian window will be OPEN until 3 PM because somebody has to keep Wyandotte fed while the rest of you are sitting in lawn chairs, grilling things, and enjoying your three-day weekend.

But seriously... Why would YOU labor over lunch on Labor Day? That would be disrespectful to the holiday.

Let US do the labor.

You show up.
We make the subs.
You eat the subs.

Very efficient system we've developed here. 😂

After my shift, I headed straight to Sammies & Pops in Trenton for a little treat.

And OH. MY. GOODNESS. Would you LOOK at this thing?! 🍪🍦

A giant cookie ice cream sandwich, and YES, it tasted every bit as good as it looks.

As a woman owned small business, I LOVE supporting other woman owned small businesses, especially right here in our Downriver community. ❤️

So here’s my recommendation...

Come get your sub on with us at Cornerstone in Wyandotte. 🇮🇹🥪

Then take a little ride over to Trenton and show the ladies at Sammies & Pops some love too.
