We want to inform our customers that **fake $100 bills** have recently been passed around in Wrangell and Petersburg . Please take a moment to inspect your cash before using it. Please check your cash carefully look at the watermark, the blue security strip, and the texture. A few seconds of checking can prevent a big headache. Counterfeit bills can affect both businesses and customers, so staying alert helps protect everyone.

If you encounter a suspicious bill, **do not accept it** and report it to Wrangell Police Department.
