The team at Yolk & Crumb has made a difficult decision to adjust our hours of operation. We will be closed on Wednesdays for the immediate future. This decision was made to ensure we can deliver the quality of baked goods you deserve. Team members on our kitchen team have recently moved on to new opportunities out of Worcester and abroad. We are diligently searching for new team members to join us. However, we need to make this adjustment to remain efficient and best serve our incredible loyal customers.

Our hours moving forward will be Thursdays and Fridays 7am - 3pm and Saturdays and Sundays 8am - 3pm. The shop will be closed Monday through Wednesday.

We will return on Wednesdays as soon as we bring new production members on the team.

Hello friends!
This heat wave is exceptional and presents unique challenges. It is so hot that AC units struggle to maintain consistency and freezer spaces are being overloaded especially in older buildings or spaces with little insulation.

Bakers rely on carefully controlled temperatures to prepare the dough and shape the pastries we all love. But Mother Nature has other plans this week. Everything is impacted from the lamination and proofing of the dough; to the butter, chocolate, and other ingredients used. The consistency is a challenge and the quality is impacted.

Therefore, we will have a limited selection on Friday morning (7am to 12pm). We will make as much as we can but also do not want to jeopardize the quality.

Thank you for your continued support. We hope when we return in 12 days that temps have returned to a “cool” 90 degrees again.

As we enter our summer break, we are filled with gratitude at the Y&C.

We will open on Wednesday July 1st and Thursday July 2nd from 7am to 3pm. Friday, July 3rd, we will open from 7am to 12noon (early closure)

The shop will be closed starting Saturday July 4th through Tuesday July 14th.

We look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday July 15th to celebrate the summer with you.
