IC will be opening a food truck while we continue to scout for a location. The truck will be stationed downtown and at other venues, and will also make rounds to local neighborhoods. Our sample food truck menu:

Food Truck Breakfast:
$2 Vegan Grilled Cheese: add tempeh bacon for $1 and/or tomato for 50¢ extra

$5 Breakfast Sandwich: tempeh bacon, tomato, mixed greens, humus, melted vegan cheese on toasted bagel

$5 Breakfast Burrito: housemade tofu scramble with black beans and spinach, in an organic tortilla wrap, served with salsa and guacamole.
Try our homemade hot sauce! Or add tempeh bacon for $1.

$4 Sunrise Scramble Wrap: housemade tofu scramble, with spinach, onion, tomato, avocado, and hummus served on a grilled wrap & a side of pico de gallo

Add a small portion of homefries for 50¢ or as a side for $1

Lunch Sandwiches:
$1 Grilled PB&J Pita ($2 w/ agave & banana)

$3 Habañero Cat Dog: steamed carrots sautéed with habañero, garlic, turmeric and smoked paprika, over spinach and topped with pepper and onions on a grilled bun with vegan cheese

$3 Teriyaki Cat Dog: steamed carrots sautéed with homemade teriyaki, topped with pickeled carrot and cucumber and sesame seeds

$5 Bahn Mi: seared tofu, romaine, pickled carrot and daikon radish, jalapeños, fresh coriander, cucumber, and veganaise on a toasted baguette

$5 Veggie Black Bean Burger
- Ciabatta or Potato Rosemary or Pita
-Choice of one sauce: bbq, guacamole, pico de gallo, vegenaise
- up to 3 toppings. 50¢ for extra

“Design Our Logo” Contest

Intersection Café: a Penny University Co-op is a start-up café scheduled to open in Worcester in 2017. Intersection Café (IC) will sell Fair Trade (ethically produced by international farmer cooperatives) coffee, tea & Int’l beverages, and vegan express items. In addition to providing quality food and beverages with exceptional service, IC will serve as a social space for community organizers, people of color, LGBTQ, students, artists, and thinkers. IC will offer delivery service until 3AM every night and we will be open 24/7 Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

IC will be a hub for global cultural exchange designed by the community and emerging from the co-created social space. In an effort to engage the community, IC is soliciting the help of our local artist(s) friends to design our logo. All entries should be submitted to [email protected] by 1/16/17. The artist of the chosen logo will receive free coffee (or tea) for a year (one per day). In addition, the artist will have the opportunity to have a different piece of work exhibited at Intersection Café on a month-to-month basis for a year.

The artist has creative license to produce any concept they see fit for the logo. It’s suggested that the artist consider the mission, concept, and target population when designing the logo. Here are a few words to help inspire:
