Two pizza challenges in one visit... what could possibly go wrong? 🍕😂
Today I am at Palace Pizza in Worcester, MA for something a little silly... I am going to attempt both their in house Pizza challenges in one sitting!
I kicked things off with the speed challenge, chasing one of the fastest pizza eaters on the planet. Let's just say trying to beat Geoff Esper's time wasn't my brightest idea. I made a rookie mistake from the very first slice, and when you're racing against a 1:33 record, every second counts.
Luckily, redemption was waiting.
Next up was the Palace Pizza Party Pizza Challenge, a 24-inch square BBQ chicken pizza, a mountain of fries, and a 2-litre drink, all with 45 minutes on the clock. BBQ chicken is one of my favourite pizzas, but after the speed challenge, I was already feeling the burn. By 15 minutes I was genuinely getting full, and this challenge was way bigger than it looked.
After nearly 25 minutes, I finally polished off the lot and walked away with $100 in my pocket. 💵🍕
