So here's where I'm at. I've priced this out. Some of this is contingent upon board of health. I've priced out a new trailer. V front, 36" char Grille, 36 inch flat top. 3 triple fryers. Salad and sandwich station. Batter station. Freezer and fridge. 200lbs of natural gas capacity. Ability to hook to either a fully potable water supply or on-board fresh water and Grey water storage. 3 Bay sink. Everything I need. Trailer and truck to pull it.. around 64k. I looked at several used ones and the ones I liked at were OK, but they all had things that would have been replaced or outright removed. When I did all the figures, it's right around the same price to just build out one new, vs buying one and retrofitting.
I'll need to run the fundraiser. I have a portion. Not all. I just don't see that much being raised though. I can surely give it a go.
Next, I think I have a couple locations that I can use as a full time home base with the ability to go to events etc. There's a little link below. I have an idea...:)
In order for this to work, I need to go 10 months a year. I would be open March thru December. Off as off Xmas to end of February.
How fun would this be to have several of these lit up for some on site dining?
