Your Pizza Shop Wooster

08/25/2026

Hello friends! We just want to take a moment to say Goodbye. From the minute we started this page January 1st, you have all been such a huge part of our journey.
When we took the shop over the first of the year, we had an agreement with the original owner that if we did not find it to be working for our family as projected we could turn it back over to him. It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that that has happened. We officially turned the business back over to the original franchise owner effective the first of July.
This page will be deleted in a few days but before we do that, we just wanted to tell you all how much we appreciate all the encouragement, support and kindness you showed us as we tried to build the business. Leaving has not been easy. So many ups and downs, but we had a lot of fun too! We made so many new friends and met the most wonderful people. This community is truly amazing and you have treated us so well! It's hard to say Goodbye.
Your Pizza Shop Wooster will remain open under new management but many of the changes we implemented will be changed again soon. Items like the Bacon Cheeseburger Sub and the Sweet Basil Garlic Pizza and others will probably come off of the menu or will be different but they will still offer the regular tried and true menu.
Thank you Wooster!✌️

We Need Our Community Now More Than Ever!

!!!Our shelter is beyond full!!!

Every kennel is occupied, our overflow is full and dogs continue to arrive at our doors every day. While we're committed to providing every dog with the care they deserve, the reality is that with nearly 80 dogs in our care, we're struggling to give each one the individual time and attention they need.

Right now, 18 of those dogs are unsocialized. They aren't "bad" dogs, they are scared.
Many have never known kindness, lived in a home, or experienced the simple comfort of someone sitting quietly beside them.
These dogs don't need miracles. They need people willing to spend time with them, earn their trust, and show them that the world isn't as frightening as they've always believed. Every minute spent with them is another step closer to becoming adoptable.

Beyond that, we have nearly 80 dogs that need daily walks, enrichment, clean kennels, fresh water, clean dishes, laundry, toys washed, and human interaction. Our staff works tirelessly every day, but there simply aren't enough hours to meet every need the way we'd like.

This is where our community can make all the difference.

We urgently need:

Volunteers to walk dogs, spend time with our shy dogs, help with enrichment, and assist with daily shelter tasks.

Foster homes to provide temporary relief and give dogs a break from the stress of shelter life.
https://www.waynedogshelter.org/foster-program

Adopters ready to open their hearts and homes to a shelter dog.
Rescue partners willing to pull dogs into their programs and help create much-needed kennel space.
https://www.waynedogshelter.org/adoption-questionnaire

Every adoption opens a kennel.
Every foster saves a life.
Every volunteer gives a dog hope.
Every rescue partnership allows us to continue saying "yes" to the next dog that has nowhere else to go.

If you've ever thought about volunteering, fostering, adopting, or partnering with us as a rescue, now is the time. We cannot do this alone.

Our dogs are waiting.
They deserve more than surviving, they deserve a chance to truly live.

Please share this post.
Your share may be the one that changes a dog's life.
