🥕🍅🌽 Today is the last day to register for our Full Seasonal Eats Community Supported Foods (CSF) Season beginning next Friday! 🥕🍅🌽

Pictured here is an example of a Seasonal Eats CSF share from last year. Every other week, subscribers will enjoy a bountiful array of fresh, locally farmed produce, artisanal value-added foods, culinary delights, and recipes curated just for you.

🥕 Spring/Summer 2026 Season - June 5th - Sept. 11th, biweekly pickups on Fridays
🍅 Cost: $600* for the Full Season - 8 Shares - $75 per share
🌽 Purchase the full season online or in-store
Every other week payment option is available to co-op members through in-store registration only

🥕 Local Roots is open on Monday for Memorial Day until 2pm! 🥕

We will be closing early at 2pm this coming Monday, 5/25 for the Memorial Day holiday. There will be no lunch service that day, but breakfast service is still on from 8am - 11am. If you'd like to join us for lunch, our chefs have prepped some great options for the holiday out of our to-go case you can enjoy in our market til 2pm, or take home with you for your holiday bbqs,. Boo Bears will be closed for the day.

“Hi everybody! Adam here, reporting to you live from Washington, D.C. I'm down here across from the Capitol Building. I wanted to say hi to everybody, all my friends in Wooster, Wayne County, and the larger small local food system ecosystem out there. I'm down here meeting with congressional staffers, USDA staff, in preparation for the Farm Bill. They're drafting legislation right now, and I'm down here trying to make sure that everybody knows how important it is that funding gets put in for small local food systems work that we're doing, all the stuff we know y'all love, and I want to make sure more of it's available. So cheers from DC, and I'll be back soon.”

Jill from Cucina Di DeSimone (pictured here) will be taking over Monday’s weekly lunch spot starting today, and this week you can catch her filling in for Korasada - Korean BBQ & Taqueria on Wednesday as well! Serving 11am - 2pm both days.

On June 4th, community herbalist Brandon Scott of Woodland Herbal — pictured here — is leading a hands-on beauty cream workshop right here at Local Roots. Woodland Herbal is a family apothecary rooted in four generations of plant wisdom, and Brandon brings all of it to the table.

You’ll learn which botanicals actually do what, make an herb-infused oil together, and walk out the door with a handcrafted cream that’s yours to keep (and recreate at home).
