Don't forget, we are still accepting applications for all positions at the Hero House. We have extended the hiring event to Friday and Saturday of this week for all to stop in and fill out an application.

Once we fill all positions, we will be able to set an opening date. We are chomping at the bit to get open but we need to complete filling these positions first. Please feel free to assist us on getting the word out by sharing this on your walls and to your groups.

We have decided to accept applications from teenagers 16 and older. Teenagers under 18 would need to follow the required State and local rules. This requires, during the school in session period, to download the work permit application from the Ohio Department of Commerce website, to be filled out and have a parent or guardians signature, the employers pledge, and a signed physicians certificate. This permit must be issued through the School the teenager is enrolled in.

Pay is discussed in the interview process.

✅ BIG MILESTONE ACHIEVED! ✅

We are excited to share that we have successfully completed all required New Owner Inspections, upgrades, improvements, and operational changes necessary to obtain our new Health Department Food License.

Over the past several weeks, our team has worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure that every requirement was met and every detail was addressed. From facility updates and equipment improvements to operational procedures and compliance standards, we have made a significant investment in preparing The Hero House for a successful reopening.

We are proud to announce that we have now been granted our new Health Department Food License and are one step closer to welcoming everyone back through our doors.

Our goal has always been simple: preserve the great food and traditions that The Hero House has been known for while providing a clean, safe, and welcoming experience for every customer.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support throughout this process. We can't wait to serve the Wooster community again very soon!

UPDATE: We are hard at work getting things ready still.

We thought we would share that we finally received in our 3 brand new fryers. They arrived and we have them put together, connected, and are now ready for when we open.

We have a few more pieces of hardware coming in yet before we can get our final inspection set.

It’s coming along and we are working everyday on getting things done.

Please be patient with us as we are moving forward as fast as we can.

We have been receiving a lot of messages / posts about the menu.

We will have a limited menu at first upon re-opening.

We are still working on completing the choices for the initial menu, while we clean, complete upgrades, re-arrange / re-organize the kitchen, go through inspections, and get new equipment items in (more to be delivered) to update items to meet requirements.

We promise it will be a very good selection, on the menu, even being limited at first.

We want to reassure everyone that we will be transitioning back to the full menu you all love and are hungry for as we move forward !
