For those of you who saw my original post several months agoā¦.
A PRAISE REPORT ā¤ļø
I have started this post about a hundred different ways, and I still donāt know if I have the words to express how incredibly grateful I am.
To every single person who has prayed for me during this battle with cancerāthank you. To those who have checked on me, encouraged me, cried with me, loved me, and lifted me up in prayer when I didnāt have the strength to do it myself, please know that I have felt every bit of it.
This journey has been one I never imagined I would walk. There have been hard days, scary days, emotional days, and days when I hardly recognized the person looking back at me in the mirror. Iāve lost my hair, my strength, and parts of the normal routine I once took for granted. But through it all, God has been faithful.
I have now completed my chemotherapy treatments and surgery, and we recently received my pathology report from surgery.
There is no more cancer. Gone. Period. šš»
I honestly donāt have the words to describe what it felt like to hear that.
While this is an incredible answer to prayer, my journey isnāt quite finished. In the next few weeks, I will begin radiation treatments. Iāll be going every weekday for approximately 4ā6 weeks.
So Iām asking you to keep praying.
Pray that my body continues to heal. Pray that I feel good and have the strength and energy for this next phase. Pray for continued peace, complete healing, and that I can keep trusting God with every step ahead.
And please know that I donāt take a single prayer for granted.
I have been surrounded by so much love throughout this entire journey. From my family and friends to our employees, customers, and this incredible community, you have reminded me over and over again that I am not walking this road alone.
God has carried me through every hard day, and today I am celebrating a very big answer to prayer.
Thank you for praying for me. Thank you for believing with me. Thank you for loving me through the messy, difficult, beautiful parts of this journey.
