Family owned Chinese Restaurant since 1971 offering dine in and carry out options located just off the Square in Woodstock, Illinois.

During the COVID-19 crisis we are open normal business hours for carryout curbside pickup. Gluten free and dietary options. We cook our orders from scratch. The common options/modifications are available to choose from on our online ordering. Most of our items have a gluten free option and all our items (other than crab rangoon and our Hawaiian dinner rolls) do not contain dairy). Please call us i

f you have any dietary or allergen request not available on the online ordering site. Our egg rolls and crab rangoon are scratch made and hand rolled each morning daily. If you have a special request on preparation for these items, please give us a call the day prior and we can prepare them the morning of your order specifically for your needs. For example, some of our customers like a vegetable egg roll or to add shrimp. We are happy to accommodate you if we are given advanced notice. Please ask for a manager if you have any special dietary needs so we can insure that your order is prepared the way you like. Some of our carry out staff are in training still and are still learning what each item contains. A note on gluten free items. Items that have our house batter do contain flour and our wrappers do contain flour. We do not use flour for our gravies and sauces. The common gluten in our items is usually soy sauce (used for flavoring)—we have gluten free soy/tamari sauce and are happy to substitute that for our customers who require gluten free. Visit our tent Saturday, April 8th at the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt in the Woodstock Square for complimentary candies and fortune cookies for all children while supplies last. Enter our free raffles at a chance to win one of 3 Easter 2023 Squishmallows or a Chop Suey Hut $100 gift card. We will draw the ticket at 12:30 PM and phone the winner of each raffle. Winner need not be present, if the winner does not respond or pick up their prize by Wednesday, April 12th we will draw another raffle ticket. If you are not at the Woodstock Square at the time of the drawing you may pick up your winning item at Chop Suey Hut, 218 N. Throop St., Woodstock, IL during normal business hours.

Dear Friends,

We would like to inform you that we are still not open for indoor dining. We will continue to be carryout curbside as we assess the situation with Covid-19. We have also decided to continue offering carryout curbside even when we reopen the dining room. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this trying time. Dear Friends,
Chop Suey Hut will be supporting the Woodstock Christmas Clearing House with product partnerships this year. A portion of the proceeds from certain products will be donated to the Woodstock Rotary Club to benefit local families this Christmas. We have created 3 new ice cream cocktails for the Christmas Clearing House. Introducing the Pink Lady, Grasshopper and Brandy Alexander. 24 oz ice cream cocktails to go for $8.00, $1.00 from each sale will be donated for local families in need until December 12th. We will also be creating new desserts as part of the fund raising efforts. We will keep you posted when those are added to our menu. Dear Friends,

We just wanted to inform you of our Covid-19 measures. Since the beginning (March 17), Chop Suey Hut's dining room has been closed. There is no entry for the public. We have been carryout curbside with our normal hours of operation for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We sanitize our pens and clipboards and wear single use gloves when bringing the orders curbside.

We can put the order in your trunk for your safety and convenience as well.

We are constantly disinfecting our work surfaces as well as any shipments arriving at our restaurant.

Our staff does not come into work if they are not feeling 100 percent.

If any staff member attends a large gathering or travels on public transportation, they self quarantine for 2 weeks.

Thank you everyone for your continued support. We appreciate it. We hope all of you who came for the complimentary treat bags had a wonderful Halloween. Chop Suey Hut will continue to be open our regular hours for carry out curbside pickup.

Dear Friends,

The Covid-19 restrictions starting this week will not alter our operations. Since the beginning of the restrictions, Chop Suey Hut has not opened our dining room or the restaurant to the public for the safety and health of our customers and staff members. We have stayed open the entire time—transitioning to carryout curbside pickup. We will still have our Halloween Trick or Treat complimentary treat bags for all Trick or Treaters coming curbside to the restaurant. All treat bags are individually heat sealed and we will offer the option of placing them in your trunk (for contactless delivery) or hand them to you on long trays to observe social distancing. One treat bag per child until supplies run out. We have over 650 treat bags containing a full sized candy, smaller treat sized candies, a toy and stickers, Airheads, Twizzler and fortune cookies. We also have over 150 peanut free treat bags. Our costumed, masked and gloved staff will be distributing treat bags from 4 pm to 8 pm—or until supplies run out—rain or shine. Please put on your hazard lights when you arrive at the restaurant so we know which vehicles are there for treat bag distribution.

Dear Friends,

We had an overwhelming outpouring of support Sunday night. We just wanted to thank everyone for their support and patience!!! We also wanted to give a huge thanks to our loyal customer Kevin. While he was waiting for his order he actually helped find customers for us. The city did not turn on the lights in the parking lot and it was extremely difficult to find some of our customers. We appreciate you all and apologize for any inconvenience.
