Sad news everyone, we're heartbroken to announce that due to unforeseen equipment issues, we will need to close the restaurant through the weekend. We know, we're just as disappointed as you are! But don't worry, we're working hard to get everything up and running again as soon as possible. In the meantime, we're taking this opportunity to revamp our menu and add some exciting new dishes that we can't wait for you to try! We should be back in business on Thursday the 24th, and we hope to see you all there to try out our fresh menu items. If we’ve been a little quiet around here lately, it’s because we’ve been busy preserving summer. 🍑
This time of year, our kitchen and bar are full of beautiful fruit from our local food friends, and we’ve been preserving as much of it as we can so we can keep playing with these Montana flavors all winter long. Stay tuned, because we have some fun things tucked away!
First up: our Peach Milk Punch. ✨
Made with gorgeous organic peaches from Dancing Sunflower Farm, Earl Grey tea from Lake Missoula Tea, and Spotted Bear Vodka, then clarified with milk from Kalispell Kreamery.
The result is silky, smooth and crystal-clear, with the flavor of fresh, real peaches front and center, gently rounded out by the creamy mouthfeel that makes a clarified milk punch so special.
It’s a little bit of Montana summer, preserved in a glass. 🍑🥃
We love this one, and we think you will too. Come try it while it’s on the menu at Montana Bonfire in Woods Bay, just south of Bigfork on Flathead Lake.

As we roll into September, one of our favorite things about this time of year is the abundance of incredible local Montana produce coming through our kitchen. And this new dish has quickly become a crowd favorite.
Our Bison Tenderloin Carpaccio, featuring bison from Buffalo Chase, is paired with wood-grilled shish*to peppers, cherry tomatoes, sweet corn purée, pickled eggplant, and crispy garlic chips.
It’s a little smoky, a little bright, and a delicious snapshot of late summer in Montana. 🌽🌶️

Buying a whole bison from our friend Chris at Buffalo Chase Premium Bison in Dixon, MT, means that we are cycling thru many different cuts of steak, and we are thrilled with the way they are presented
