There are some days that become memories before they're even over, and today was one of those days.
We spent the day with Pumi, learning the art of her Korean cooking. From the moment we stepped into the kitchen, it felt like more than preparing a meal—it felt like being invited into a story passed down through generations.
The air filled with the comforting aroma of garlic, sesame, and spices while Pumi patiently shared her recipes, techniques, and little secrets that only come from years of cooking with love. Every ingredient had a purpose, every step had a meaning, and every dish carried a piece of her heart.
We laughed as we cooked, sampled flavors along the way, and shared stories between stirring pots and chopping vegetables. Time seemed to slow down as the kitchen became a place of connection, friendship, and tradition.
What made the day so special wasn't just learning how to make incredible Korean food—it was experiencing the love that lives inside every recipe. Food has a way of bringing people together, and today reminded me that some of life's greatest gifts are found around a table, sharing a meal made with care.
Years from now, I may not remember every measurement or every cooking technique, but I'll remember the laughter, the conversations, and the kindness behind every dish. I'll remember a beautiful day spent with Pumi, learning more than recipes—learning a little about life, culture, and the language of love that food speaks so effortlessly.
Some memories fade with time. Others become timeless.
Today was timeless.
