What Does Pork Belly Taste Like?
The meat of the pork belly has a mild taste, much like the loin. The rich, unctuous flavor comes from the layer of fat that breaks down and enrobes the meat. Because of this, bright fresh ingredients like citrus, fresh herbs, scallions, lettuce, and cucumber often accompany pork belly dishes to offset the richness. - https://www.kabukirestaurants.com/location/kabuki-restaurants-woodland-hills/

Leaving a Messy Plate is Rude
After a meal, you shouldn’t crumple up your napkins and leave them on the empty plate. For many Japanese people, this is considered rude and shows a lack of respect for the staff. Instead, diners are expected to neatly fold the napkins and leave them next to their plate, or throw them out if there is a bin available. https://www.kabukirestaurants.com/location/kabuki-restaurants-woodland-hills/

Gochisousama: “thank you for everything”
Itadakimasu is said when you start eating but, when the meal is over, remember to give thanks again using the phrase gochisousama, which is a sign of respect towards the chef. This translates as a more formal way of saying “it was a feast,'' as the word gochiso refers to a meal of luxurious foods. Before saying gochisousama, it is also good manners to return all the dishes and chopsticks back to where they were at the start of the meal. - https://www.kabukirestaurants.com/location/kabuki-restaurants-woodland-hills/
