They can copy the aesthetic.
They can even copy the logo.
And we will stay quiet.
But they can never copy the story. ♥️🍕

Francesca’s Brick Oven Pizzeria was proud to bring authentic Neapolitan-style pizza Downriver when there was nothing quite like it here. We took a chance on something different. We had no idea how our community would receive it, but we believed in the food, the tradition, and the vision enough to take that risk.
And we will ALWAYS be proud of the courage it took to go first. 🇮🇹🍕
Seeing more Napoletana-style pizza popping up Downriver tells us something pretty incredible. There is a love and a market for the style of pizza we were once nervous to introduce here. I waited my whole life to see this and prayed for it every time I came back from Italy.
And truly, we want EVERY locally owned pizzeria to thrive. There is room at the table for all of us. ♥️
But there is also something to be said about originality.
Your recipes, your branding, your logo, your menu, your aesthetic, and the experience you create should tell your story. Small businesses pour years of sacrifice, creativity, money, sleepless nights, and heart into building an identity. That individuality deserves to be respected.
So just a friendly reminder: Francesca’s Brick Oven Pizzeria is independently owned and is NOT affiliated with any other Napoletana pizzeria.
This is our only location… for now. 😜
We’ll keep doing what we’ve always done: creating, evolving, protecting the integrity of our food, loving our customers, and staying true to the vision that started it all.
