🥂✨ Well, as of 3/31/21, Deluxe AVL-Wine Bar/Cafe is totally closed and out of business.

Many of you are aware of how stressful and difficult it is to close any business. It was especially difficult for this one, because our customers were so wonderful and supportive. You kept us going and we thought we were ready to turn the corner. But it was not to be.

We must give a special shoutout to a few customers who went above and beyond to help during the packing and moving time.
SPENCE COCANOUR came multiple times to answer my calls for help. Then PAUL DUNCAN and MARK KELLEY brought their sweet spirits and big trucks to help clear out everything to be stored.

Many of you brought boxes and packing materials - MANY bought wine and other items to help.

As you are beginning to look for another location where you can come together and visit, let us encourage the support of two special businesses.

* Metro Wines Asheville (John Kerr and GINA) supported us throughout this entire adventure, and then bought coolers, furniture, dishes and glasses. You will see these repurposed when they open their new location in Reynolds Mtn. GO THERE

*Then Elspeth, from Maggie B's Wine & Specialty Store, bought most of outdoor furniture and some inside tables. You should see these pop up soon at her location in Weaverville. PLEASE SUPPORT .

For many of you who became such close friends, please stay in touch. Mark is slowly gaining his strength back and would love for you to reach out. Mom is trying to learn how to relax but not sure that is even in her DNA. :)

THANK YOU AGAIN for being such fantastic customers and special friends. Most of all, we will miss YOU!

Hello friends and colleagues, Mark is finally home from the hospital, and doing better, so it is time to focus on some sales at the cafe! Earlier we ran out of all the wonderful red wines you loved, so we ordered more and now have them in stock... along with great whites, rose and sparkling wines.

This is a GIANT BLOW OUT WINE SALE of everything on the shelves. Please come by and pick up your favorites from Deluxe at great prices.

Customers have always loved our wonderful wine glasses for their quality and strength. We have those for sale as well. Get some to have at home. We also have water and other beverage glasses in quantity!

If you know anyone who might want some indoor/outdoor furniture, please send them our way. Indoor tables all handmade, top quality and really lovely. Chair/stools totally functional and attractive. Outdoor furniture made of Polywood and will last forever!

We have many things another restaurant might be able to use, so let others know about it. PLEASE SHARE!

💖 Okay, Deluxers and wine lovers: We have a good stock of most of your favorite wines on the shelves, right now.

ONE, MAJOR WAY, YOU CAN HELP US, IS TO CONTINUE TO BUY WINE, OFF THE SHELF AS LONG AS WE STAY OPEN, PACKING TO MOVE. You will still get it at a great discount to take home to enjoy at your leisure and it will be a massive service to our ability to pay off major bills, etc.

You know how fast our last selection went. I have reds, whites and rose for you - most of your favorites. You can enlarge the picture to see the familiar ones you love. If there are ANY WINES YOU WANT US TO ORDER A HALF CASE OR FULL CASE, we can do that as well.

Leave a message at (828) 412-3457 and we will call you back. (Voicemail is checked 2-3 times a day now.)

I won't know exactly when I will be at cafe next week until I know more about Mark's schedule at hospital, BUT my goal is to TO BE THERE EACH AFTERNOON, FROM 2-5, to meet you and help with your selections. If you leave a message at Cafe, we will get back with you to arrange a better time, if possible.

This info is not going out to public until mid week to give our loyal customers first choice. Then whatever is left will be offered to public.
