Triss is our longest cat resident. She was surrendered in March of 2016 when her owner could no longer keep her. She was adopted in 2019 for 8 days and returned for not doing well with the animals in the home. Triss has spent 6 years and 11 months in our shelter in total.
Triss can be a bossy, sassy girl, but she also has her really sweet moments. She can be really lovable, she will sit on your lap and purr and drool because she’s so content. But if she’s had enough of being petted, she will let you know with a little bite. For this reason, we would not recommend a home with small kids for her. She is almost 9 years old now and needs a home to call her own with her very own people. She has probably lived with more cats and dogs here over the years than any other cat. She does like to be the Queen so every once in a while we will catch her swatting another cat in her space, but for the most part, she does okay. She has also mellowed out some in her older years.
At this point, going to a home will be a big adjustment for Triss and she will need time and patience to adjust. We know there is someone out there for her and we know her life can be so much better in a home. Please help us find a forever home for Triss! ❤️
