Well I got some bad news, I was messing around last night and found out this morning. I wanted to test a new cold proofing method, well, when I went to go test them this morning, 2 out of 5 that I opened up were still raw in the center.

Therefore, I can't in good faith sell them openly to the public. And so I'm gonna keep the shop closed today. Terribly sorry, you live and ya learn. I won't be doing that again.

I'll resume my standard method of proofing tomorrow and I'll be open as scheduled.

We're gearing up to get things back in motion. We're gonna be back tomorrow morning and we're changing our hours to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:30am to 3:00pm. We can add more days as demand grows. We're starting with the new schedule tomorrow. Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things, sorry for the hiatus. We're hoping we can run things much more smoothly by focusing our efforts on the busiest times. Can't wait to see everyone again!

Hey y'all, here's an update for everyone who's been asking:

We need to step back and rethink how we're going to do this.

We've been so focused on trying to be open all of the time instead of when people are actually buying donuts that we've been ending up with way too much waste at the end of every weekday.

We don't want to close down, but at this rate all of our money is going into wasted donuts. And we hate wasted donuts.

This weekend we're taking a little breather while we get our heads straight and figure out how to do this without completely burning out.

We want to thank everyone for supporting the donuts, we LOVE what we do, and we don't want to call it quits just cause we flew a little too close to the sun.

We love y'all, and we love selling the donuts. But our dogs are getting too fat and our kids are sick of leftovers.

We'll be popping back open Saturday August 8th, and have special orders open for the weekends. We're probably gonna need to wait until we're a just a little more popular before we open on the weekdays because the math ain't mathin'.
