Hi friends,

We know we’ve been quiet.

In the mist of getting permits, as well as health inspection, my grandmother passed away.

Sunne, who I plan to change the restaurant name to (Sunne’s Eatery + Gathering Place) played a huge role to my childhood and adulthood.

Last night the cafe was full of family, as we celebrated her before the funeral today. We made her famous lavender cookies, which I plan to carry at the cafe often, danced and played games.

Thank you everyone for your patience. The time is coming, and we can’t wait to now honor Grandma in a much deeper way. Stay tuned.

As a thank you to the city workers, we’d like to offer them free coffee until close at 2:00. Please share with them!

Happy New Years Eve!

Where are our goal people at?!

Every year, I create a list of goals for the businesses and what we really want to focus on. We’re really excited for a new year and beginning at Aroma. In 2025, we plan to:

☀️ Rebrand to Sunne’s Eatery.
🎨 Bring in some color to the cafe.
🥬 Bring in healthier menu options, while keeping some favorites…. Think fresh sides!
🍾 Get a liquor license for mimosa and beer flights
👩‍🏫 Have a monthly class for kids to get comfortable in the kitchen and bring out creativity.
☕️ Up our coffee game with from scratch syrups. Say goodbye to artificial flavors + colors.
🎲 Host monthly family game nights with a fun dinner menu.

This last 6 months was definitely a learning adventure. This turn key restaurant that we were so excited to make ours, was anything but. We are so thankful for our customers and their patience. 2025 gives us a chance to refresh, adapt and grow with our community…. And we are ready!
