Whenever there is a horrific situation like the one at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield this afternoon, we also see the best in people working together to help. It really is a team effort to ensure the safety of our residents. I really appreciate the way the West Bloomfield Police Department, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and our Oakland County team worked together, along with other local and federal law enforcement officers. These situations affect our families deeply and Oakland County is here to help with resources and assistance for anyone struggling with the difficult emotions associated with the incident. The results are in! We had Michigan Football vs Michigan State Spartans tip jars today and we must admit the MSU jar was to the brim by the end of market! Regardless of who you're rooting for (besides Ohio) we hope everyone enjoys the season because we have so much football ahead! 🏈❤️

We love seeing our community show up for us at the Highland Farmers' Market - it is so heartwarming seeing your vegetable hauls, the unique art you pick out and just overall admiring you all enjoying the beautiful day here with us 🌞 Thank you for supporting the incredible vendors that are here every week, and we cannot express enough how much we appreciate spending time with you guys! We are beyond grateful for our community.
