One of my favorite parts of summer is the people.

Every year, our little ice cream shop brings together local high school students and college students from around the world through the Work & Travel program. This summer our team includes students from Turkey, Thailand, Jamaica, Moldova, and right here in Wisconsin Dells.

Our international students leave their families, move halfway across the world, and spend the summer working in a second language. Our local students jump right in beside them. It’s a pretty special mix, and before long they’re all just one team.

Summer is busy, so we always try to make time for a little team bonding too. This morning we traded ice cream scoops for jet boats.

Huge thank you to Dells Boat Tours® for an unforgettable morning. We really are lucky to call Wisconsin Dells home. ❤️🍦🌎

Summer so far 🍦☀️💕

We usually say the season really kicks off after the Fourth of July - but you all have kept us BUSY since the doors opened this year. And we couldn’t do it without this crew.

Our team of 12 brings together staff from Turkey, Jamaica, Moldova, and Thailand, along with some pretty great local high schoolers 🇹🇷🇯🇲🇲🇩🇹🇭🇺🇸 Yesterday, we traded ice cream scoops for go-karts and laser tag for a little employee appreciation night 🏎️

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, brought friends, come back again (and again), and kept us scooping all summer long. We appreciate you more than you know.

And a special thank you to Yeti Yard Wisconsin Dells for helping us celebrate our crew! 💕

Dinner next door, dessert with us 🍦🦞

This Wednesday, Cousins Maine Lobster - Milwaukee & Madison, WI will be at The Landing Riverfront Bar in the Lower Dells from 12–7 PM.

Grab a lobster roll, enjoy the river view, and then stop by next door for ice cream after; we’ll have cones, sundaes, waffle bowls, and cookie sandwiches ready for dessert.

There will also be live music at The Landing with Ben Olsen from 5–8 PM.

A pretty perfect Wisconsin Dells Wednesday, honestly.

Ice cream, tacos from Eddie's Grill , live music, kids running around, friends filling the patio, and the Wisconsin River in the background. Pretty hard to beat.

And we’re doing it all again TODAY for the 4th of July 🇺🇸🎆
