Well our 2026 Bowman Gray season is over and we hit one of our goals! Top 5 in points!
Championship night would of been a fun one starting pole but unfortunately a storm came in and with no chance to make it up. But hey for our first real/full season we are very happy with our year and 5th place points finish! Currently sitting 10th in Southeastern Points so might be running some other tracks and seeing if we can move up a few more spots there as well!

Saturdays recap. Started out on pole and had a good run going until the first caution came out. Had a decent restart but the car tightened up and was not rotating good. I push up and opened the bottom, but very happy with the hard racing and holding the outside line for a while. Coming out of 4 to the checkered we got dumped and took some hard hits leaving us for the joyride on the wrecker. Placed 12th for the night but doing what we do best and keeping our heads up, staying respectful, and ready to keep digging for our last race at the stadium. Going into championship night 5th in points.

Chucky for the winnnn!!!! #81 🏆 Another good race and good points night! Started pole and hung onto the lead for a handful of laps. Then two of the best drivers out there came up and said watch out rookie 😂 Seriously beyond happy finishing 3rd to them and being able to race hard with them!

Saturday night recap. Started P7 and got tangled up with another car and into the turn 4 wall on lap 2. I was running the line of the car in front of me but picked up the throttle a little to early and ended up pushing up a little coming out of 4. Causing my right front tire to hop his left rear tire which turned both of us. The fact that anyone thinks that I had any care or reason to “straight dump him” is beyond crazy to me. But hey it’s the Mad House. We will be back next week to work on not “driving over our capabilities” but most importantly owning up to our mistakes and staying respectful.

What a race! Started P5 in a 25 car field, moved up to P1 pretty quick for a few laps until rookie mistakes strike again. Missed the shift on a restart but was lucky to settle into P3 where we ended up finishing the race at. Was so much fun and feels so great running with some great FAST guys. Definitely needed that on double points night keeping us in the top 5 in points!
