Earlier this year I did something that was very difficult for me—I asked for help. And you showed up.

I debated whether I should say anything again because so many of you already helped us earlier this year. I don’t ever want your generosity to feel taken for granted.

But I’ve also realized that pretending everything is fine doesn’t help an independent business survive.

The truth is, running a small guitar shop in 2026 is hard. Really hard. And while your support helped us get through a very difficult beginning to the year, we still need people walking through the door, buying guitars, trading gear, telling their friends about us and choosing a small local shop when they have the option.

I love this place. I’m proud of what we’ve built here. And I want Heyday to be part of Winston-Salem for a many more years.

So I’m asking again—but this time I’m not simply asking for money. I’m asking you to participate.

Come see us. Buy something. Trade something. Share a post. Tell a friend. Leave us a review. Even just stop in and see what’s changed.

Small businesses don’t survive because thousands of anonymous people shop there once. They survive because a community decides they’re worth keeping.
