Happy Sunday Limers! 🍋🟩
Sometimes we spend so much time trying to figure out how we’re going to make something happen that we forget where our help actually comes from.
We look to our resources. Our connections. Our experience. Our own strength. And while God can certainly use all of those things, none of them is the source.
God is.
I can testify to this personally. There have been seasons in my life when I truly did not know what came next. Times when what I was facing was bigger than my resources, beyond my understanding, and completely outside of my control.
And yet, I’m still here.
Not because I always had the answers. Not because I was strong enough. Not because everything worked out the way I wanted it to. I’m here because God helped me.
And even now, as The Sweetest Lime is in the middle of trying to grow and expand, we’re still figuring out where our help comes from. There are decisions to make, resources we need, doors we’re hoping will open, and pieces we simply don’t have figured out yet.
I’d love to tell you that after all these years of walking with God, I never worry or try to figure it all out myself—but I do. And then I have to remind myself of what my own life has already proven: God has helped me before.
Sometimes He sent a person. Sometimes He opened a door I didn’t even know existed. Sometimes He provided a resource at exactly the right time. And sometimes His help was simply giving me enough strength, peace, and faith to keep going.
So even in this season of growth, I don’t have to know exactly how everything is going to happen. I just have to remember where my help comes from.
That’s why Psalm 121:2 hits differently when you’ve lived it—and when you’re still living it.
Whatever you’re carrying this week, remember that your help isn’t limited to what you can see, what you can afford, who you know, or what you can accomplish on your own.
Your help comes from the Lord. He made heaven and earth. Surely He can handle what comes next. 💚
