Happy 49th anniversary to US! 🥳🥂

Ryan's opened on July 17, 1977 and has been a Winston-Salem staple ever since.

We are so grateful to have been blessed with such supportive and lovely customers and a dedicated staff over the years.

I had an amazing time tasting these fantastic Chilean wines! The exception is the far left champagne which is one of the best I’ve ever had (out of France, of course!)

Rest in peace, Jeff Sparks.

Jeff has been a huge part of Ryan's Restaurant for decades, coming on as a manager in 1982 with Dennis Carter and eventually making his way to part-owner in 2007.

Jeff had a *literal* huge presence at Ryan's (he was around 6'6") and was loved by customers and employees alike. He took Spanish classes so he could communicate with some of his favorite Hispanic employees. He also had an affinity for helping bussers set tables and we always joked that he was the highest paid busser in Winston-Salem.

He was a loving person whose impact extended far beyond the restaurant. The friendships he built, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will remain with us forever.

We are deeply grateful for the years he shared with us and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and forever a part of the Ryan's story.
