Exciting news to share with The Powder Room Café community. The Café at 1016 Burke Street will be temporarily shutting down on Saturday, January 20 and will reopen in the Spring under new ownership, a new brand and with a fabulous new look. And best of all, much expanded food and beverage options that will continue to raise the bar for daytime fare on Burke Street.⁠

Though I’m busting at the seams to do so, I’m not at liberty to share more details at the moment. Stay tuned here for updates in the coming weeks and please rest assured in my commitment to expanding and improving the appeal and diversity of retail and dining on Burke. I promise – you’re going to love what’s coming.⁠

It is bittersweet for all of us at The Powder Room. This community as well as a whole slew of out-of-town guests have been so supportive, enthusiastic and incredibly loyal. You made our little jewel box of a café successful and we love you dearly for it.⁠
