Here is just a quick note to all of our Amazing customers and those visiting this page for the first time. This is the page of the previous owners. We didn't want to delete it because we have the best customers ever and we want to keep in contact with you. Because of the HGTV remodel, we are getting a lot of questions on this page. Here is a link to their new page. Give them all the love and support this amazing town has and the loyalty of our amazing customer base. We love and appreciate you all. Part 2

For the past 43+ years, Darrel and Sandra Hancock have loved, served, and sacrificed for the community of Winslow and for their family. It is with great excitement and a little sadness that they have made the decision to retire. The business that they have owned has grown into "Another famous Corner" in Winslow and I couldn't be more proud and blessed to be a part of it.

On a personal note, I have watched my parents give and give to everyone, but especially to my family. They have sacrificed so I could have great experiences in my life. Their modest, humble attitudes have been a strength to me and their great wisdom has blessed the lives of so many.

It is with great confidence, we are selling this business to a family who will continue this great tradition. They have been working with us for the past few months to make the transition easier. I will be staying here for a few months to help them also. Don't worry, the recipe is not changing!

As a celebration of Darrel and Sandra's retirement, we will be having a small informal retirement gathering on Saturday from 11-2 (if I can get Darrel to commit for that long). Stop by and share some memories. We appreciate everything Winslow has blessed us with and we look forward to continue to serve the community in other areas.

Part 1

After 43 1/2 years as owners and operators of
Darrel's Root Beer Stand
Darrel and Sandra Hancock are going to retire.
We want to say THANK YOU to all of Winslow with a
special thanks to the Winslow Schools, staff and students.
Loy Engelhardt and Kino Radio, businesses and citizens,
the surrounding areas and those who have come in from
different states and countries for all the support you have
given us over these many years.
We love and appreciate you and we will miss seeing
you, having chats, and your smiles, but the friendship
we have had with you will still be there.
We have truly been blessed to have Roland, Natalie,
Mason, Ava, Lucy, and Coleman here to work with us for
the past 10 years. It has been a fun ride.
We have had countless employees over these years who
we love and appreciate. They have worked hard to help our
business be successful. We have had many who started
working for us in High School and stayed with us as adults.
We love our employees as a family and treated them as such.
We will miss seeing all those who come back to see us.
To our loving parents, brothers and sisters who have been
there to support us, we love you and are thankful for you.
We are selling Darrel's Root Beer Stand, as of April 1, 2019,
to Cris and Leann Moss, they will keep
this "famous corner" tradition going.
We hope you will support them as well as you
have supported us on our journey.
