Six years ago, we opened a pink door.
We didn’t know then how many of you would walk through it.
How many birthdays we would celebrate. How many first dates, family dinners, quick lunches and late-night cravings would become part of our story. How many tacos we would serve, how many friendships we would make, or how far this little hidden gem could someday take us.
We simply had a dream — and we painted the door pink.
Yesterday, we found that original door again.
And for a moment, we stopped.
Six years of memories came rushing back. Every person who walked through it helped turn a small business into something bigger than we could have imagined.
You gave Pink its wings.
And because of you, we’re ready to fly a little farther.
Our Starrville location will be closing its doors as Pink Flamingos prepares to move into our new home in Tyler.
Bigger. Bolder. And filled with everything these first six years taught us.
But before we close this door, we simply want to say:
Thank you.
Thank you for finding us when we were just a little hidden gem.
Thank you for choosing a small business.
Thank you for bringing your families, telling your friends, sharing our food, celebrating with us, believing in us, and allowing Pink Flamingos to become part of your lives.
Most of all, thank you for inspiring us to reach further than we ever thought we could.
The little pink door served its purpose.
It welcomed you in.
And somehow, all of you helped open the next one for us.
So this isn’t goodbye.
It’s six years of Pink becoming something more.
One door closes.
Another is beginning to open.
We’ll see you on the other side.
