Friends, burger lovers, believers in the elusive and delicious—

It's with heavy hearts (and slightly lighter schedules) that we share this news: Bigfoot Burger is hanging up its spatula.

After serving you our last patty, we'll be opening Discount Grocery Store in Mountain View. Yes, we named it exactly what it is. Subtlety was never our strong suit.

Here's the thing about running a restaurant: it's a beautiful, exhausting, all-consuming beast. And much like our namesake, we've realized we were never meant to be confined—not to a kitchen, not to a grill, not to the relentless rhythm of the dinner rush. We need the wild. We need our lives back. We need to remember what the river feels like.

But leaving you? That's the hard part.

Thank you for inviting us into your cars during mid-day cravings, your homes for family dinners, and yes—your bellies. We've made burgers exactly how you wanted them (extra pickles, no pickles, "surprise me"), and some of those custom orders are seared into our memories forever.

We're not disappearing entirely—just trading the grill for grocery aisles. And who knows? Maybe you'll spot us in the wild, restocking cereal, finally free.

**Hey Bigfoot Fam! 🍔**

We can't thank you enough for making Bigfoot Burger what it is today. You're not just customers—you're family! There's nothing quite like seeing those familiar faces walk through the door and knowing exactly how you like your burger before you even order.

So here's the scoop: We'll be taking a family break from **November 2nd through to mid January . Life is serving up some big moments for us—a funeral to honor someone incredibly special, a wedding to celebrate, the exciting final steps of our IVF journey, and what feels like a million birthday candles to blow out!

We know this is a long stretch, and we'll miss seeing you all. But these precious moments deserve our full hearts and attention. We promise we'll come back recharged and ready to serve up those burgers you love!

We'll see you in January—can't wait to welcome you back! 💛
