So… I opened A Latte luv 5 years ago, amidst COVID, on a whim. There was no place in town to sit down, have a cup of coffee and meet up with your friends. I told Kenny I wanted to open a coffee shop and he said , “I don’t think that’s a good idea”. And if you know me, I replied, “Well I already paid the rent for this place.” 😜 It turned into something spectacular. We went from coffee and added lunch and finally ice cream. Some Friday’s you could catch our house band, Fresh Picked, playing for the customers who would come from all over to hear them and support our little cafe. Over the last year business has declined a good bit but not just at our place, but others around town. As much as I love the place we have put a lot of time and heart into, I also don’t want to work my “day job” just to keep it a float. Sometimes God sends us signs that we don’t realize at the time. But things always happen for a reason. I’m tired. I need to continue to put family first. With going in so many directions all the time I feel like things have fallen on a back burner when they should be a priority. All this to say , it’s been fun , I’ll miss my people but if you are in my life it will be because you were chosen to be. ❤️ to everybody Mary Anne
