I’m thankful that my parents left a legacy here in Winnfield. I’m thankful that they left me with their knowledge of the restaurant business. I will be opening a food truck or a new restaurant but it won’t be in Winnfield. Our legacy has seemed to be dying here so we will start it over somewhere else. If we do the food truck we will probably be in Winnfield one or two days a week. If we open a new restaurant we will rebuild my parents legacy in another city or town. We love and appreciate all of our loyal and faithful customers! We will announce where and when if we open a food truck or restaurant. It will probably be sometime in 2024. Thank you for always being loyal customers. We love all the ones that was always loyal and faithful to us! There are no words to show how much we appreciate all of you!

First off we sure do miss all our Customers! I personally miss talking to all of you face to face!We need all of y’all’s feedback on something! We are thinking about buying a food truck within the next year. We have to get our house we are buying remodeled first which will take about 6 months, then we feel like we want to purchase a food truck. So let us know what all of you think. I can’t let you know what kind of food we will be serving yet just know there is not another one doing what we will be doing. One of the only food items that will be from our old menu will be our Lynda’s Signature Shrimp! Please give us your feedback. Thanks in Advance! Please Share!

Attention to the City of Winnfield and Winn Parish:
This post is the hardest one I have ever had to do. My Heart is Shattered! After a lot of soul searching I had to make one of the hardest decisions in my life. After being a lifetime resident and pillar in the community for my whole life we regret to inform everyone that tomorrow September 24th at 10pm Lynda’s Country Kitchen will close their doors permanently. We appreciate and love all of our customers that remained faithful to us for all these years. We will be willing to sell it. All equipment and supplies for a full serve restaurant. We will be willing to owner finance but we will require a down payment. Please contact me if interested. Again, we Thank All of You for your Patronage over the past 7 years! Look for us in about a year or so in another state. We will be relocating as soon as possible! Again, we love all of you and I hope my heart will heal soon. So sorry Mom & Dad that I let you down! We all tried to keep it going. I hope all of our Customers stay safe & Blessed!
