It's Good Friday. 🤔
…Good?
Listen. I'm a Chinese restaurant owner.
Nobody briefed me on this.
I've been in this kitchen all my life and I still don't understand why it's called GOOD Friday.
I asked my staff. They shrugged. 🤷
I checked the fortune cookies. Nothing. 🥠
BUT —
Every Friday people come in hungry and THAT I understand perfectly.
So I just focused on making sure the FOOD is GOOD. 🥢

This dish is low key a Fan Fav! Garlic Green Beans Pork Stir Fried with Hoisin Sauce! Oh yeah this hits the spot if you want that savory but a little sweet, get it medium hot, so just the right amount of kick! Too hot takes away from the other flavors, or your face! From being to HOT🌶🤦🌶

Did you know the egg roll is actually an AMERICAN invention? 🇺🇸🥢
That's right.
A Chinese immigrant in 1930s New York basically looked at a spring roll and said "this is good… but what if we made it BIGGER, GREASIER, and CRUNCHIER?"

And just like that — the egg roll was born. 🎉

So next time you're at your favorite Chinese spot going to TOWN on an egg roll — just know that's American innovation on your plate.
